We spent some time outside today and Will loved his swing. He literally screamed with delight as Marc and I pushed him. I love this photo because it captures how much fun my two boys have with each other.

March 30

One of the first things I fell in love with about our house when we first saw it were its glass door knobs. It's hard to believe that we've lived here just shy of 5 years!

March 29

Today it really felt like spring was finally here! We took a bike ride up to Friendly Grove to celebrate the sunshine. Will loved being in the bike trailer - there were several squeals of delight as we made our way to the park. While at the park, Will picked Marc and I some flowers. These are the first that he's ever given to us.

March 28

Today we went to Seattle to visit Jay, Jennifer and Henry. The boys enjoyed playing with each other and Will especially loved all of the new toys. When Elmo was first turned on, he said something about telling a story. Naturally, Will had to go get a book for Elmo to read.

March 25

I know, I know. Haven't posted a picture in a few days. I've been taking them, but I actually haven't felt like spending much time on my computer these last few days. Gasp!

It finally feels like spring is on its way - our evergreen clematis is covered in blooms and growing like crazy. I love this time of year!

March 22

As always, Will had a great time visiting his Grandparents. Going to Grandpa and Grandma's is always good for getting new toys, especially when there is little else to do but go shopping while the Grandparents sleep in on a Sunday morning. Here he is playing with his Diego Dinosaur Transport, which he just couldn't get enough of!

Today Will and I spent the night at my parents' house while Marc continued to do finishing work in the kitchen. Before we left, Will spent some time helping Daddy on the ladder.

March 20

Tonight I enjoyed a night out with Becky, Sarah, Trina and Rayna. We had a fantastic dinner, followed by divine dessert. It was a night of good conversation and many laughs. I've got great friends!

March 19

After school today, Sarah and I had a meeting at the district office to plan our last math club of the year. I was lucky enough to get a new book about teaching math. It will be a great addition to my already large arsenal of math resources!

March 18

Today was Cheryl's day off and she and Adrian decided to spend the day with Will. He was very excited to spend the day with Auntie Cheryl, who even managed to put his hair in a ponytail. By the time I got home from work Will was so overstimulated that he wouldn't sit still for a picture. This was as good as it was going to get.

March 17

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, we went out for Thai food. We found a parking spot across the street from a local watering hole. When Will saw the graffiti on the side of the building, he said, "I want look at that really quick." So, we walked across the street so he could admire the artwork.

March 16

Tonight I went to the School District Board Meeting, where I was recognized for receiving a grant from BECU. I'm very grateful to the Credit Union for supporting local schools. I can't wait to order some new materials for my reading group!

March 15

We woke up to a winter wonderland again today, but it thankfully began raining mid-morning. Unfortunately, it hasn't stopped raining since! Will had a great time splashing in the puddles this afternoon.

It's Friday night and I can't think of a better way to top off a sunny afternoon than with a Pacifico. Pacifico is my favorite spring and summertime beer, probably because it reminds me of vacation Marc and I took to Puerto Vallarta. (Was it really 12 years ago?) It was the perfect companion for our fajita dinner.

Today we decided to have Italian food for dinner so we ventured to Pellegrino's in Tumwater. Will loves to eat lemons but, like all of us, finds them just a bit too tart! We had a fantastic dinner with oodles of leftovers - we'll definitely be making a return visit.

I haven't been in the mood to scrapbook much lately, so I picked myself up some inspiration at Michael's tonight. Hopefully something within these pages will spark my creativity!

March 10

Today Will and I stopped at Bayview on our way home. Will loves to do the shopping using the child sized carts. In addition to the salad and broccoli that were on my list, Will decided we also needed an apple.

March 9

Today Will received a late birthday present from the Yakima Dailys. He was so excited to open a present and even asked if there was birthday cake. (Luckily, he didn't mind that there wasn't any.) I love that this picture shows how hard Will's concentrating while opening his present. Will was excited to get a new book and really excited to watch some new Elmo DVDs.

March 8

We sprung forward today but you never would have guessed it by looking outside. This morning we watched snowflakes fall from the sky and turn the ground white. Luckily, they didn't last long and the sun actually came out a few times.

Today I had my first Girl Scout cookies of the year. Nothing beats the taste of a Thin Mint. Well, maybe Samoas. I can never decide...

March 6

It was a nice sunny day today, so I went on a hunt for signs of Spring. I found a few crocuses blooming under our magnolia and some buds on my the clematis. Horray!

March 5

We've all been sick this week. First Will, then Marc and, finally, me. A glimpse of our many remedies. (Don't worry, Will only gets the Children's Motrin.)

March 4

Marc is on bath duty most nights. Tonight my two boys had fun "wrassling" around after bath time. There were, however, a few snuggly father and son moments and I was lucky enough to get on on film.

March 3

Tonight as we were getting ready for dinner, Will decided that he wanted to sit in Mommy's chair instead of his high chair. He did great, only getting down to "get someping" from the kitchen once. (Translation: I want to get out of my chair because I can and I'm going to do what Mommy does every night - go into the kitchen to get something else for me to eat.) This picture was taken while Will and Marc were in mid-conversation. I love how it captures how happy Will is to be talking to his Daddy.

March 2

Today when we were driving home, Will and I saw two rainbows. The sky was a dark bluish gray and the colors of the rainbow were some of the most vibrant I'd ever seen. The colors of the rainbow faded by the time we got home, but I was still able to capture a little of its magic.

March 1

Thank goodness for bedtime! For some reason, Will wouldn't nap today. We put him down at the regular time, but he sat in his bed playing, singing and yelling for over an hour. I'm guessing he was a bit "stir crazy" from not doing much this weekend. He finally managed to put himself to sleep, but it was for a mere 35 minutes or so. Needless to say, he was pretty out of control and aggressive by the time dinner rolled around. We were sick of it, he was sick of it, so we opted for a VERY early bedtime. We tucked him in and never heard a peep - sound asleep before 7pm!
