September 30

Will got a new mask for his nebulizer today. He loved it and didn't want to stop doing his breathing medicine this morning!

September 29

Love those baby blues...

September 28

After a day with a miserable and sick toddler, this is how Marc found me when he got home tonight. Will whined and cried all day - literally.

September 27

A rare smile on the face of a sick and grumpy boy. He found some fun in dumping water on his aquadoodle mat and splashing in it with his boots on.

September 26

After being coooped up in the house for a few days, we took Will out to the park for some fresh air.

September 25

Will stayed home with Marc today and they enjoyed every minute of their time together. Despite having a fever, the boys played all day!

September 24

Today I had to pick up Will early because he had a temp of 102.8...poor kid! He spent the afternoon resting in front of the television and drinking some juice.

September 23

Nothing better than a bubble beard at bathtime!

September 22

Will has said several times that he wants to be a skeleton for Halloween, but we weren't sure if it would be too scary for him. I found a pretty cheap costume at Toys R Us last night, so I decided to buy it. Needless to say, it was a hit. He even ate dinner in it!

September 21

Its not every year that we get to enjoy a popsicle in the backyard in September. Today is the first day of a heat wave...supposed to be in the mid-80's on Wednesday!

September 20

Will and I taking a break from dancing and cooking dinner.

September 19

Today Dianne threw a birthday bash at her house to celebrate all of the September birthdays (Jordan, Nathan, Dianne) as well as an early celebration of Brent, Jay and Todd's 40th. Here are the birthday boys.

September 18

Getting ready for Halloween by reading a book with Daddy.

September 17

Gorgeous dahlia from the Farmer's Market.

September 16

Marc is out of town this week for work and I'm all about fixing Will and I easy meals. Tonight we had breakfast!

September 15

A very unhappy boy tonight. Nothing would make him happy - he threw tantrums because I cut the green off the strawberry because I cut his sandwich into triangles instead of squares. Bedtime couldn't have come soon enough!

Septermber 14

Will loves looking at all of the red leaves falling to the ground. He thinks they are funny!

September 13

Today my college roomates and their kiddos joined us for an afternoon of food and fun. It was hard to catch up while chasing 6 toddlers around!

September 12

The morning sun illuminating one of many spider webs in our front yard today.

September 11

Tonight Marc and I headed to the Red Wind Casino for some fun. I ended up winning $100.00 on the slot machines...woo hoo!

September 10

School has started and the leaves are changing...fall is just around the corner!

September 9

My students for the next 9 months! They were pretty good today, even if they were a bit chatty. We took this at 9:09 am on 9/9/09.

September 8

Today I put the finishing touches on my classroom in preparation for my new group of students. Nothing like freshly sharpened pencils to start the year off right!

Monday, September 7, 2009

Today our neighbor brought us two large bags of plums. They are absolutely delicious, but I'm not sure what to do with all them - I'll have to look into a few recipes. Will enjoyed washing them all off in the kitchen sink.

September 6

This morning I went into work to get ready for the new school year, which meant Will and Daddy had a lot of time to play on their own. Even after I returned, Will still wanted to play with Dad...my two boys sure have a great time together!

September 5

Today we were lucky enough to meet Miss Bianca! She was a great baby, posing perfectly for Auntie Karen and her camera. Bryan and Sasha seem just thrilled to be new parents!

September 4

Tonight Will stayed with Grandma J and we went to Ryan and Shannon's wedding. We had a fantastic time laughing and dancing with old friends. We even stopped at Dick's for some late night snacks on our way home...mmmmm...just like the good ol' days!

September 3

We got Will an Ikea chair for his new room. Tonight he loved sitting in it while snuggling and reading books with Mom. You can also see his new fireman monkey shirt...a big hit, for sure!

September 2

Playing horsie (or, as Will calls it "doingy-doingy") is always good for some giggles. I am not a very good horsie, as I just can't fling Will high enough in the air. Just tonight Will said, "Daddy's the best horsie."

September 1

One of Will's favorite activities is playing "ocean" with his plastic fish, Little People and some water in a plastic shoebox. Here's Eddie getting ready to dive into the water. (Notice the pink pants? Will spilled milk on himself at school and didn't have any extra clothes. Whoops!)

August 31

Tonight Sophie and Sarah came over so the kiddos could get one last play in before school starts. They had great fun playing around while watching a little bit of Dora.

August 30

Another day, another extremely messy dinner. It seems as though Will has gotten messier and messier these last few months. How does a 2.5 year old get absolutely covered in yogurt? Well...it probably has something to do with that hand inside the cup. Maybe we should put a stop it that!

August 29

Marc put together Will's new big boy bed today. Will was very excited to be "Bob the Builder" and help with the assembly. Putting things together is now referred to as "Bobbing" in our house.

August 28

My days of summer dwindling so Will stayed home to hang with Mommy today. I was surprised to see him actually pedaling his trike around the yard. Though he has known how to do this for quite some time, he usually prefers to just use his feet.
