It was my day to bring donuts for the kids at school today and, of course, I saved one for my little guy. He tried to save these two bites for Marc and Grandpa Mick, but the call of the chocolate proved to be far too temping to resist.

Marc has a "meeting" at Fish Tale after work today, so Will and I spent some fun Mom and Son time together. We ate out on the deck at Bayview, then strolled around Percival Landing, before heading back to Bayview to pick out a dessert. Will chose a chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips and loved every bite! Surprisingly, he even let me have a little nibble. Love these moments together, just the two of us.

Lots to do tonight, which meant dinner out. Will loved Old School Pizzeria and couldn't stop looking at all of the pictures or video games. He was especially enamored by this poster of Hulk Hogan, which was hanging right above our booth. At one point he was gazing up at Hulk and said, "Mom...his body is really big right there!" No, not that. It was Hulk's ample bosom. Duh.
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street? Well, we found it in Everett. Today we saw Elmo Live with Grandma Dianne and Henry. Both boys thought it was the greatest thing they had ever seen! They both thought the dark stadium was pretty neat, but I suspect the cotton candy and kettle corn were also high on their list. Unfortunately, DSLR cameras were not allowed inside, so this is our only proof that we were there. Oh, and the overpriced souvenir we now have at home.
I took today off to relax and enjoy myself before heading to the Mother's Day tea at Will's school. As I sat on the couch, enjoying the morning talk shows, I heard some noise in the dining room. The cat? No, a mouse. Needless to say, my relaxing morning ended. After I showered, I could tell the mouse was under the stove. When Marc got home, he surrounded the stove with traps and put up a barricade so that neither the cat or the boy could get to them. At least it meant I didn't have to cook dinner! It took another 18 hours or so, but we finally got the little bugger. Yucky.
Will and I headed up to the farm today to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Will enjoyed seeing Bianca and it was really cute to watch him be so sweet, even helping to feed her. Will's favorite part, by far, was making and eating Grandpa's birthday cake. The not so fun part was the fact that we both got sick. Ugh.

Marc got Will a new hat at the Mariner game yesterday, just in time for day two of tball practice. Marc took Will by himself and came home positively exasperated by Will's *excellent* listening skills. This boy of ours is strong willed and won't take no for an answer. It's going to be a long 15 years.
We were supposed to head to Britt's for a get together today, but Will woke up too early and was, once again, in a grumpy mood. We opted to spend some time at the Nisqually Refuge instead. Will had a very hard time listening and wouldn't stay on the path. Consequently, Marc held a screaming kid in his arms for the last half of the trail. It was joyous.
