February 27

The full moon caught my eye tonight...it was gorgeous!

February 26

Will and I spent time playing together after dinner. Mom's greatest move tonight? Pretending to throw up. He's all boy!

February 25

I bought a planter filled with primroses and daffodils at Costco the other day. It's nice to have a little spring greeting me on our doorstep each day!

February 24

Tonight I pulled out a box of tinker type toys that I've had for a few weeks and Will was in heaven. It was fun to build different structures and play with them. Here he is playing with a gigantic crane Marc built. Later, Will had some of the rods get married. Too cute!

February 23

I caught Will looking up at Marc in sheer adoration tonight as he was listening to his Dad. I grabbed the camera and snapped, but obviously my setting were wrong. Even though this is totally out of focus, I love it because you can see how happy Marc makes his little boy.

February 22

Does this look like the face of someone ready to go to bed? We put Will to bed at his regularly schedule time (7:45 or so) but he was still awake at 8:45. After two trips to the bathroom, yelling for me to come in and give him hugs multiple times since he was "sad" or "scared," Will finally fell asleep once I turned music on for him. He'll be one tired kid come tomorrow morning!

February 21

Today was a gorgeous day outside! We invited Sophie, Hannah and Sydney over to enjoy the sun with us. The kids rode bikes, played in the backyard and had a great time playing together.

February 20

I asked Will to make me a happy face tonight. He wasn't giving me the right look until I asked him to say "Blaze" his favorite character from "Tinkerbell." The boy loves that little firefly!

February 18

I've been down near the lake for a workshop the last few days. This morning was frosty and cold, but perfect for taking a photo of the Capitol.

February 17

Since it was such a gorgeous day, Will and I went to Bigelow after school to play. I caught him looking between the bars of the play structure. Wonder what you are thinking about, little boy?

February 16

We've been eating a lot of oatmeal lately. Marc and I both prefer to eat our oatmeal with a smidge of brown sugar and lots of blueberries. I like a little milk, Marc turns his into soup. Have you ever noticed that blueberries have stars on them? Patriotic little buggers, eh?

February 15

Here you see the "Troll Family" in their nest. This weekend, Will took a break from playing with his dudes and, instead, played make believe with his stuffies. His beloved Pandy was center stage in all his imaginings, which were mostly inspired by "Tinkerbell."

Father + Son = Love

February 13

Today we headed north for the 2nd not-so-annual Daily bowling tournament. As usual, I didn't even break 100, despite having a few spares and even a strike or two. Who knows when the next tournament will happen, but one thing is for sure - we'll certainly be finding a different venue.

February 12

Marc sent me two dozen roses at work today. They are gorgeous and I'm a lucky, lucky woman!

February 11

I put together Will's Valentines this evening. I waited until the last minute to do so, hoping that he would eventually want to take time to "write" something to his friends. No such luck this week. Every time I asked if he wanted to draw or write, he said "No." I've got to figure out how to get this kid interested in exercising his fine motor skills!

February 10

My favorite part of driving to work is being able to see Mt. Rainier as I exit the freeway. This is what it looked like this morning. I love watching my view of the mountain change over the course of the year.

February 9

Ms. Peg made this picture for Will and he brought it home today. He loves her so much! He always wants us to hang Ms. Peg's drawings by his bed so he can see them before he falls asleep. Will's lucky to have such a great teacher!

February 8

A new cup for my sweet little boy. Will's meal tonight consisted of his own loves - macaroni and chicken legs.

February 7

Today Will and I went to the Lee's so that Marc could enjoy the Superbowl in solitude. While Becky and I cooked dinner, Will these two kids watched "Tinkerbell." My heart nearly melted as I saw them snuggling together on the couch. Hard to believe that they were just little newborns not that long ago and how they can carry on conversations together.

February 6

Today was a gorgeous and warm (for February) day, so we went for a walk at McClane Creek. It is such a great place! I really enjoyed searching for little surprises to photograph as we walked through the trails. This spiderweb was one of them. Of course Tinkerbell put the dew drops on teh web, so Will was delighted!

February 5

I received my first Shutterfly book in the mail and I can't stop looking at it. 36 pages, at least 50 hours of work and full of memories that will last a lifetime. I love it!

February 4

A picture of our poor cat who never gets enough attention. She is pretty cute!

February 3

Will picked out a new toothbrush today. This was the first shot I took of Hulk - followed, of course, by about 25 others. I often find that I should trust my intuition when shooting photos. But...I keep shooting away, since I never know if a new inspiration will strike.

February 2

We have a bowl of change in our mudroom and it has managed to escape Will's interest for the last three years. Recently, however, he finds it terribly funny to grab a handful of change and throw it into the cat box, which is located below the table this bowl sits upon. Marc loves sifting for change in kitty litter!

February 1

Tonight we pulled out Will's Elefun game. He quickly got bored of it so I decided to see if I could get a shot of myself throwing the "butterflies" in the air. It's pretty hard to hold a camera and take a picture of your other hand!
